As part of Brookdale Senior Living’s “Entrepreneur in Residence” program, Ken Paulus of URise Products is staying alongside residents of a senior living community and soliciting their feedback about his new stand-assist device.

I give this idea two thumbs up — one for URise Products for asking actual elders about what works for them and one for Brookdale for making it possible through their program. If I had more thumbs, I’d give one to Ken Paulus for stepping out of his comfort zone and living in a senior community for several days and another to the residents of the community for offering their wisdom.
